Renewable Energy Optimism in Western Australia

There was a very strong sense of optimism about the large renewable energy opportunity in Western Australia at two significant Clean Energy events attended by the Green Team on the 16th and 24th of June in Perth. The abundance of wind (onshore and offshore) and solar in the very sparsely populated state were key themes along with the opportunity for hydrogen project development and export. Senior state ministers were keynote speakers at the WA Business Future Of Clean Energy lunch (Alannah Mac Tiernan ) attended by more 800 people, and the Clean Energy Council’s Perth Mixer (the WA Minister for Mines, Petroleum and Energy, Bill Johnston)
